Environmental Project Analyst

SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a skilled Project Controls Analyst to support our Great Basin sub-region operations in Utah and Idaho.
This position offers flexibility, with the option for a hybrid or fully remote work environment based out of one of our West Region offices.
The selected candidate will be located within the Pacific or Mountain time zone.
About the RoleAs a Project Controls Analyst, you will be responsible for utilizing Power BI dashboards, Deltek Vision, and other reporting tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for projects.
You will identify, assess, and manage project risks in collaboration with project managers, ensuring that potential issues are addressed proactively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Utilizing Power BI dashboards and project management software to track KPIs and project progress
- Identifying and assessing project risks, and collaborating with project managers to address them
- Supporting the development of project budgets and work breakdown structures
- Assisting with project setup within SWCA's project accounting system
- Preparing and presenting monthly client accrual estimates
We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or an environmentally related field, and a minimum of five years of experience with an environmental and/or A/E/C firm.
Key qualifications include:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel)
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet
- Demonstrated proficiency in Deltek Vision or similar project accounting software
- Familiarity with federal and/or state environmental protection laws
