Job Summary

The Construction/Maintenance Planner plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and infrastructure. As a liaison with customers and internal stakeholders, you will coordinate resources, manage projects, and ensure timely completion of construction and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate resources for construction projects, ensuring fully staffed crews and timely completion of tasks.
  • Order project materials and manage inventory to ensure availability for scheduled work.
  • Perform design duties for simple construction/maintenance projects and provide cost estimates for time and materials.
  • Assist in the development of plans for complex design projects and ensure compliance with safety and good operating procedures.
  • May serve as primary contact for environmental issues, hazardous materials communication, and industrial hygiene.
  • Perform inspections and oversee activities to ensure all inspections and repairs are completed thoroughly and on schedule.
  • Promote safety awareness and accident reductions through safety meetings, tailboards, and implementation of safe work procedures and practices.
Requirements
  • High school degree/GED and two (2) years Journeyman lineman (or electrician) experience.
  • OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or an equivalent discipline and two (2) years experience in construction, engineering, operations, or maintenance within the utility or related industry.
  • OR high school degree/GED and seven (7) years equivalent combination of education and experience in construction, engineering, operations, or maintenance within the utility or related industry.
Working Conditions

This position requires employees to work at the assigned location, with some flexibility. The selected candidate must live within reasonable distance to Flagstaff, AZ.
