Special Inspector

Universal Engineering Sciences is seeking a highly skilled Special Inspector to join our team. As a Special Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet the required standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with approved plans, codes, and related requirements.
- Monitor construction work in progress to determine whether work is being performed to specification.
- Perform structural observations and write detailed reports summarizing observations.
- Communicate field observations and test results to supervisors, project managers, and dispatch.
- Collaborate with managers, team members, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in Special Inspections.
- Must be certified in, minimum, one ICC Certification (ICC Masonry, ICC Reinforced Concrete) and willing to obtain other certifications as soon as possible.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills (simple algebra).
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum 2+ years of Construction Materials Testing or other construction-related experience.
- Additional certifications (ICC, AWS, Post Tension I, or EIFS), a plus.
