Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subcontracts Administrator to join our team at Jobot. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract administration, with a focus on managing the entire subcontract life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer all phases of the subcontract life cycle, including pre-award, award, post-award, and closeout.
  • Develop and negotiate subcontract terms and conditions.
  • Review and interpret complex contracts to ensure compliance with company policy, government specifications, and other requirements.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), GSA process, and GSA schedule.
  • Utilize SAM and CPARS to manage government contracts.
  • Understand and manage NDAs to protect sensitive company information.
  • Create compelling proposals that meet the needs of both the company and the customer.
  • Collaborate with various departments, such as legal, finance, and operations, to ensure contracts are executed smoothly and efficiently.
  • Conduct risk assessments on potential contracts and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Regularly report to management on the status of subcontracts, including any potential issues or risks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in subcontract administration or a related role in the medical industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), GSA process, and GSA schedule.
  • Proficiency in SAM and CPARS.
  • Experience in reviewing, interpreting, and managing complex contracts.
  • Strong understanding of NDAs and their application in the business environment.
  • Proven ability to create effective proposals.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
