Objective:
The Cycle Auditor is tasked with managing inventory inquiries, addressing discrepancies, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. This role will also play a crucial part in formulating and refining inventory policies and procedures, supporting various inventory initiatives to maintain accuracy and compliance with established service levels.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with SOX regulations in relation to third-party audits and company standards.
  • Plan and oversee all physical inventories and cycle counts, including necessary date verifications.
  • Compile and distribute timely physical inventory summaries to management.
  • Review and enhance inventory control procedures as needed.
  • Identify and rectify internal shrinkage issues.
  • Monitor warehouse inventory levels through daily reporting, including evaluations and tolerance reports.
  • Maintain quarterly inventory checks for parts and supplies to ensure accuracy.
  • Implement record retention protocols in line with corporate policies.
  • Conduct basic slotting tasks as required.
  • Investigate and resolve mis-slotting and quality concerns, ensuring proper verification of pick slots and back stock.
  • Adhere to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards as applicable.
  • Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Certifications:

Must be capable of obtaining a license for operating powered industrial equipment.

Experience:

Familiarity with warehouse procedures to gain a comprehensive understanding of operations. Previous experience as a selector or lift operator is highly preferred.

Knowledge:

Awareness of safety protocols and inventory tracking methods. Proficient in warehouse management systems and RF technology. Strong mathematical and reconciliation skills are essential.

Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to interpret location codes, date codes, and product codes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities; self-motivated and proactive.
  • Capacity to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Physical Demands:

This role may require stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and frequently stand, walk, bend, and twist.

Exposure to varying temperatures, from extreme cold to warm conditions, is expected. The role necessitates repetitive arm, wrist, and hand movements, along with the ability to work overhead and in confined spaces.

Manual dexterity, coordination, and balance are crucial for performing job duties effectively. Specific vision capabilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
