Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Specialist to join our team at Sunflower County Consolidated School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and services to our staff and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Device Management: Configure, deploy, and maintain devices and related peripherals to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Audiovisual Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain classroom audiovisual equipment to support teaching and learning.
  • Network Infrastructure Support: Assist with installation and maintenance of network infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.
  • Equipment and Software Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date equipment and software inventories.
  • Professional Development: Participate in educational and training activities to enhance technical skills and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Computer Lab Maintenance: Install, update, and maintain computer labs to ensure they are equipped with the latest technology and software.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other tasks and assume additional responsibilities as requested by supervisors.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: At least two years of experience or an Associates/Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Good physical condition with the ability to lift 10 pounds.
  • Supervision: Reports to the Principal, Technology Supervisor, and Personnel Director.
Terms of Employment

Salary and work year established by the SCCSD School Board.

Evaluation

Performance of this job will be evaluated bi-annually by the Superintendent.
