Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations within your facility. Your primary duties will include:
  • Conducting inspections to assess repair needs and estimating associated costs.
  • Scheduling preventive maintenance for all safety equipment and systems.
  • Maintaining detailed logs of pending and completed maintenance tasks.
  • Preparing reports on progress and status as required by management.
  • Assigning and reviewing the work of maintenance staff.
  • Coordinating the preparation of repair orders and equipment records.
  • Monitoring the use of tools and equipment in maintenance activities.
  • Performing limited administrative functions, including evaluating staff performance.
  • Initiating and conducting training for subordinate personnel.
  • Holding regular meetings with staff to ensure operational integrity.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in general maintenance, including electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, and carpentry work.
  • Ability to perform tasks associated with a Maintenance Technician.
  • Self-motivated with strong prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience in a supervisory role.
  • Proficient in using computers and relevant software.
  • Valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements

Candidates should be able to:
  • Frequently: Lift and carry up to 20 lbs., push or pull up to 40 lbs., bend, stoop, reach above shoulder level, and sit.
  • Occasionally: Lift and carry 60 lbs. or more, drive vehicles, climb, walk, stand, and work in varying temperatures.
