Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler System Foreman to join our team at Allied Fire Protection. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, service, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Service: Lead and direct the installation, service, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Oversee and direct a team of fitters and helpers, delegating tasks and responsibilities to ensure project completion deadlines are met.
  • Project Management: Coordinate and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventory of equipment and materials, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available when needed.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and industry regulations, and that all necessary certifications and training are up to date.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; American Fire Sprinkler Association training program or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience as a fire sprinkler foreman; minimum 2 years of experience as a fire sprinkler helper or apprentice preferred.
  • Certifications: State/federally-accredited foreman certification preferred; NICET II & III certification preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Preferred Qualifications
  • State Backflow testing and repair certification
  • Forklift and scissor lift certification
  • NFPA codes and standards knowledge
