We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Technician to join our team at Allied Fire Protection. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in servicing wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and troubleshoot fire sprinkler system performance through observation, testing, and setup
- Disassemble and reassemble sprinkler systems to perform maintenance and repairs
- Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment to perform service to the system
- Complete work orders, task lists, and documentation to verify work performed and ensure customer invoicing requirements are met
- Reconcile work order documents, vendor packing slips, and weekly timesheets for supervisor review
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
- Ability to maintain on-going required continued education, professional licenses, and/or certifications as required by the position
- Diagnostic ability as demonstrated through prior experience and/or training
- Ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle as evidenced by past driving performance record and to adhere to all company safety requirements
- Ability to competently use a variety of gauges, meters, measuring instruments, hand and power tools, and equipment
- Ability to effectively communicate with peers, supervisors, and customers
