Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Regeneron Pharmaceuticals team as a Director, Alliance Development. This role will play a critical part in driving strategic and operational excellence for our Public Policy & Government Affairs (PP&GA) team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an integrated advocacy strategy to advance Regeneron's policy priorities.
  • Represent the organization and department in various forums, including Congressional and state legislative briefings, roundtables, and hearings.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including patient, provider, and business organizations, to advance policy goals.
  • Develop and manage stakeholder relations, including communication, coordination of activities, and problem-solving.
  • Lead and generate communication to/from key third-party organizations on relevant issues.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partner organizations, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Proven ability to build trust and establish shared patient access goals between Regeneron and patient organizations/third-party groups.
  • High-level aptitude in developing strategic priorities, addressing federal and state policy issues consistent with Regeneron's policy and business priorities.
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking skills, and ability to work effectively in strategy teams.
  • Clear reputation as a trusted partner who exemplifies integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills and acute political sensitivity.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Dynamic professional style and ability to engage others and inspire confidence.
  • Ability to develop and drive outcomes to advance company performance metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in public policy, healthcare policy, or law, or another related field.
  • Minimum of 8+ years relevant experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills to convey complex and changing legislation, regulations, and their impact to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong strategy and execution skills with a track record of working with key thought leaders and diverse stakeholders.
