Role Overview

This Heavy Equipment Operator position offers an exciting opportunity to join AEMP USA LLC's team as we continue to grow in the utility scale solar industry.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with 3 years of verifiable experience operating heavy construction equipment, forklift operators certification and OSHA 10. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing solar piles per construction documentation within specified tolerances.

The salary for this role is estimated at $60,000-$80,000 per year, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance.
  • Load and unload equipment and materials from vehicles and trailers.
  • Ensure company equipment, material, and the work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner. Collect and dispose of scrap, excess materials, and refuse.
  • Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation.

All work is performed outdoors and workers are subject to extreme weather conditions. Must be able to work in extreme conditions - summer heat and winter cold weather.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Ability to stand and work on your feet for your shift.

Must be able to walk extensively throughout the day on the job site.

Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions and hot and cold weather.

Must have reliable transportation. Employees are responsible for their own transportation to the project site.

Must speak and write English proficiently.

Must have a HS diploma.

OSHA 10 Required.

Extensive travel is required for extended periods.

Weekly travel per diem and travel time paid.'
