Utility Scale Engineer

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Utility Scale Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing field activities and implementing engineering designs.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering or computer science and basic knowledge of AutoCAD and survey equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients to determine needs and explain complex issues
- Conduct research and studies on site
- Diagnose construction or machinery problems
- Resolve malfunctions or other crises when they arise
- Oversee repairs and technical improvements
- Install new systems and technology
- Inspect and test material and machinery for safety
- Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment
- Supervise and direct onsite crew (e.g. technicians)
- Draft and submit reports
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a field engineer or similar role
- Well-versed in technical aspects of field projects, including machinery and equipment
- Understanding of safety guidelines
- Attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills
- An analytical mind and strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to work in adverse weather and occasional overtime and weekends
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar field or relevant work experience
Salary and Benefits: The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a weekly per diem for travel and a comprehensive benefits package.
