Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Salem Hospital. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT procedures with a high level of competence, working under the administrative direction of the CT Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic CT procedures with a high level of competence
  • Work under the administrative direction of the CT Manager
  • Assume responsibility for designated areas, procedures, and students as assigned
  • Variable nights and some weekend shifts

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills and ability to build rapport with others
  • Organizational skills to work in an efficient, orderly fashion
  • Ability to function effectively in an emergency situation
  • Normal or corrected vision for visual safety checks
  • Normal or corrected hearing for safe interaction with patients and medical staff

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous CT experience preferred but not required
  • Graduates of a formal Radiologic Technology Training program with required license and registration

Required Licenses and Certifications:

  • Licensure with MA Department of Public Health to practice Radiology in the state of Massachusetts
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R)
