We are looking for a motivated, proactive, and inquisitive Staff Auditor eager to join our team. As a vital member of the Audit team, you will gain exposure to Avature's diverse business segments and global operational processes, enabling you to provide timely assurance, risk management, and strategic advice. Your role will involve assessing the company's internal controls, risk management frameworks, corporate governance, investment lifecycle, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities

Main Duties

  • Under the guidance of a seasoned auditor, conduct risk assessments of global business operations and relevant testing based on identified risks and processes. Assist in communicating findings, risks, and recommendations to various management levels. Internal Audit projects will encompass risk assessments, design evaluations, operational audits, and advisory engagements across a range of financial, operational, strategic, or regulatory areas within the global organization.
  • Perform Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing on selected areas of the firm.
  • Collaborate as a team to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and meet our high-quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key business partners and IA consulting teams.
  • Utilize available data and analytical tools during the planning and execution phases of audit delivery.
  • Proactively follow up on agreed audit actions to ensure management fulfills their commitments within the established timelines.
  • Actively seek learning opportunities to enhance skills and competencies related to the role.
Qualifications

Requirements

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Preferred concentration in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; other majors will be considered if they include relevant coursework or equivalent professional experience, along with strong analytical skills.
Professional Experience
  • A minimum of 2+ years of professional experience is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in auditing, accounting, or financial analysis, or a combination thereof, is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
  • High integrity and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information are crucial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
