We are looking for a motivated, inquisitive Staff Auditor eager to join our team. As a vital member of the Audit department, you will gain exposure to Avature's diverse business segments and global operational processes, enabling you to provide timely assurance, risk management, and strategic advice. Your role will involve assessing the company's internal controls, risk management strategies, corporate governance, investment lifecycle, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities

Main Duties

  • Under the guidance of an experienced auditor, conduct risk assessments of global business operations and perform relevant testing based on identified risks and processes. Assist in communicating findings, risks, and recommendations to management at all levels. Internal Audit projects will encompass risk assessments, design evaluations, operational audits, and advisory engagements across various financial, operational, strategic, or regulatory domains within the global organization.
  • Execute Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing on selected areas of the firm.
  • Collaborate as a team to ensure timely completion of work while adhering to our high-quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain strong, effective working relationships with key business partners and IA consulting teams.
  • Utilize available data and analytical tools during the planning and execution phases of audit activities.
  • Proactively follow up on agreed audit actions to ensure management fulfills their commitments within the established timelines.
  • Actively seek learning opportunities to enhance skills and competencies relevant to the role.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • A concentration in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is preferred; other majors will be considered for candidates with relevant coursework or equivalent professional experience and strong analytical skills.
Professional Experience
  • A minimum of 2+ years of professional experience is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in auditing, accounting, or financial analysis, or a combination thereof, is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • High integrity and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information are crucial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
