Administrative Bookkeeper

Gilmore & Gilmore, CPAs is seeking a skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to support our team in delivering exceptional accounting services to our clients.
Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000 per year
In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining smooth operations by handling bookkeeping tasks, administrative duties, and supporting our team in delivering exceptional service to our clients.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate client financial records using QuickBooks Desktop or Online:
- Handle all aspects of bill paying either through accounts payable or downloading and recording expenses paid through client bank account.
- Record customer receivable payments
- Record and track client income and expenses, ensuring proper categorization and compliance.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with payroll and filing payroll returns, sales tax returns and other compliance-related documents.
- Assist with tax preparation tasks on Lacerte Software.
- Manage engagement letter production, answer phones, schedule appointments, scan and organize files.
- Assist with onboarding new clients and maintaining client records.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or office administration (experience in a CPA or accounting firm is a plus).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Professional communication skills and a client-focused attitude.
