Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team at Gilmore & Gilmore, CPAs. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate client financial records, performing bookkeeping tasks, and providing administrative assistance to ensure smooth office operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate client financial records using QuickBooks Desktop or Online, including handling bill paying, recording customer receivable payments, tracking client income and expenses, and performing bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Assist with tax preparation tasks on Lacerte Software.
  • Manage engagement letter production, answer phones, schedule appointments, scan and organize files.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and maintaining client records.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in bookkeeping or office administration (experience in a CPA or accounting firm is a plus).
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Professional communication skills and a client-focused attitude.
