Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pre-Admission Surgical Services Provider to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a vital part of our Surgical Services team, you will play a critical role in coordinating the preoperative assessment and evaluation of surgical patients, ensuring safe and effective peri-operative care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough histories and physicals, order labs, EKGs, and x-rays as necessary, and make referrals for further evaluation when required.
  • Effectively identify and evaluate findings, adhering to anesthesia evaluation protocols and guidelines.
  • Assess surgical patients for medical and anesthesia clearance, enhancing and improving quality of care through pre-surgical screening.
  • Collaborate with anesthesia providers to ensure seamless patient care.
