Position Overview:
The Advanced Practice Provider collaborates closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive medical services, including direct patient care, thorough documentation, and effective follow-up.

Role Responsibilities:
The Advanced Practice Provider operates within the established standards of care and scope of practice as defined by the relevant regulations.

  • Conducts detailed examinations of patients focusing on both men's and women's health concerns.
  • Identifies potential diagnoses and prioritizes care based on the presenting issues.
  • Assists in formulating a treatment strategy and ensures appropriate follow-up care.
  • Communicates essential patient information to the supervising physician.
  • Educates patients regarding their diagnoses and the proposed treatment plans.
  • Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
  • Secures informed consent for all medical procedures.
  • Exercises prescriptive authority in accordance with state regulations.

Documentation:
Accurately documents patient visits in the electronic medical record (EMR) and adheres to the guidelines set forth by the healthcare facility.

Confidentiality:
Maintains patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Professional Development:
Stays updated on the latest medical knowledge through conferences, workshops, and professional literature, integrating this knowledge into clinical practice.

Additional Duties:
Performs any other related responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess an ARPN or PA-C designation from an accredited graduate program.

Nurse Practitioners:
Must hold a current license or be eligible for licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber.

Physician Assistants:
Must hold a current license or be eligible for licensure by the Medical Examining Board.

Additionally, candidates should have a DEA number and BLS/ACLS certification.
