The Aircraft Ground Service Specialist (AGSS) plays a vital customer service role, responsible for a diverse range of tasks that ensure the safe delivery of requested services for general aviation aircraft, crews, and passengers.

An AGSS routinely operates ground support equipment and applies knowledge of company policies and procedures to deliver efficient and exceptional service to customers and guests at the fixed base operation (FBO).


Key Responsibilities:
As an AGSS, you are expected to:
- Collaborate effectively with team members to provide safe and efficient aircraft services while fostering a welcoming environment for customers and guests.
- Work closely with coworkers, clients, vendors, and aircraft crews to meet customer service needs.
- Perform aircraft servicing as directed by management or customers, including fueling, de-icing, lavatory services, ground power, potable water services, parking, marshalling, catering delivery, and towing.

- Operate and maneuver ground service equipment such as fuel trucks, de-icing vehicles, ground power units, tugs, and stair trucks.

- Promote and deliver general aviation services to crew members, customers, and guests.
- Maintain safe, clean, and secure ramp operations.
- Drive shuttle vehicles transporting passengers, luggage, and cargo.
- Load and unload luggage and cargo into and out of aircraft and the FBO.
- Manage fuel handling, including quality control, inventory, and documentation.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Understand and enforce all operational, safety, and customer service requirements.
- Adhere to security protocols as mandated by the company and airport authorities.
- Accurately document time worked and services performed.
- Follow emergency response procedures during critical events.
- Suggest improvements to company standards and procedures to management.
- Perform additional duties as required.

Job Requirements:
The following qualifications are essential for this position:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Valid state driver's license; a commercial driver's license (CDL) may be required in certain locations.
- Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and obtain an airport security badge.
- Successful completion of company training programs.
- Ability to pass a color vision test for aviation fuel inspection.
- Proficiency in using computers and email.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Three to six months of experience in aviation, customer service, or a related field.
