Job Overview

Adecco is assisting a local client in the Dearborn area with autonomous driver recruitment. This client is a leader in automated driving technology, developing a hands-free, eyes-off driver assist system for next-generation vehicles.

We offer a contract position with weekly payments and benefits. The pay rate is $24/hour.

Job Details:

  • Operate a test vehicle safely and compliantly
  • Perform vehicle inspections, start-ups, launches, and shutdowns
  • Follow procedures and processes to the highest standard
  • Escalate potential safety and performance issues
  • Document events throughout the day
  • Communicate feedback on system performance

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with two years of employment experience
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet client minimum driving record requirements
  • Ability to pass ten-panel drug screen and criminal background checks
  • Enjoyment of driving for extended periods
  • Ability to monitor software via laptop in a moving vehicle
  • Experience in a professional work environment
  • Strong interest in technology and software

Nice to Have:

  • Autonomous Vehicle and/or on-road data collection industry experience
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian Jira basics
