Job Summary

Skyworks Solutions is seeking a highly skilled RFIC Design Engineer to join our team in Irvine, California. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for designing and verifying high-performance analog ICs, with a focus on RF switches and LNAs.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in RFIC design and verification, with experience in using Cadence tools and a deep understanding of RF systems-level knowledge. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented engineer with a passion for designing innovative RFIC solutions, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Design and verify RF switches and LNAs using Cadence tools
  • Generate RF and switch top verification benches using Cadence
  • Optimize RFIC designs using various extraction methods, including PEX and EMX
  • Communicate design and analysis results effectively through reports and presentations
Requirements
  • BSEE or MSEE degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in RFIC design and verification
  • Strong knowledge of Cadence tools, including Virtuoso and Spectre
  • Experience with RF systems-level knowledge and design
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience designing RFIC SOI LNAs and RF high-power switches
  • Experience with lab equipment, including spectrum analyzers and network analyzers
  • Deep knowledge of RF systems-level knowledge and design

Skyworks Solutions offers a competitive salary range of $87,600 - $167,900 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
