We are seeking an experienced Sommelier to join our team at Olio e Più - Washington DC, a charming Italian restaurant in the heart of the city. As a Sommelier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional wine service to our guests, while also contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.

About the Role

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for wine and a strong knowledge of wine and food pairings. They will be able to communicate effectively with guests, provide recommendations, and ensure that every dining experience is memorable. The successful candidate will also be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional wine service to guests, including wine recommendations and pairings
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of wine and food pairings
  • Communicate effectively with guests, including answering questions and providing recommendations
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail
  • Maintain a clean and organized wine cellar and storage areas
