We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team at The Inn at Little Washington. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, creating a memorable experience, and contributing to the success of our renowned restaurant and hotel.
Key Responsibilities- Service Delivery: Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Cocktail Creation: Develop and execute innovative cocktail menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and creative techniques.
- Bar Management: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring efficient service and minimizing wait times.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the restaurant and hotel teams to ensure seamless service and a cohesive guest experience.
- Knowledge and Skills: Possess in-depth knowledge of spirits, wines, and beers, as well as a strong understanding of mixology techniques and cocktail history.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure accurate orders, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service.
- Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities with ease.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a bartender in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Certifications: TIPS certification or equivalent required.
The Bartender will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent exposure to noise, heat, and physical demands. The ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods is required.
