Job Overview

The SMB Sales Manager is a key role responsible for leading and managing a sales team focused on outside direct sales within a designated geographic area. This position requires strategic leadership and operational management to drive sales growth and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and achieve performance targets.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to ensure productivity and sales growth.
  • Implement key operational initiatives to maintain high ethical and procedural standards.
  • Conduct frequent sales meetings and provide ongoing mentoring and coaching to team members.
  • Interview, hire, train, and develop a staff of successful Account Executives.
  • Ensure the team's productivity aligns with the company's sales goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • 4-7 years of verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience within a commissioned environment.
  • People management responsibilities and experience in telecommunications or technical sales.
  • Mentoring, coaching, and presentation skills.
  • Business sales experience and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with basic HR/recruiting processes.
