SMB Sales Manager

The SMB Sales Manager is a key role responsible for leading and managing a sales team focused on outside direct sales within a designated geographic area. This position requires strategic leadership and operational management to drive sales growth and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and achieve performance targets.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to ensure productivity and sales growth.
- Implement key operational initiatives to maintain high ethical and procedural standards.
- Conduct frequent sales meetings and provide ongoing mentoring and coaching to team members.
- Interview, hire, train, and develop a staff of successful Account Executives.
- Ensure the team's productivity aligns with the company's sales goals and objectives.
- 4-7 years of verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience within a commissioned environment.
- People management responsibilities and experience in telecommunications or technical sales.
- Mentoring, coaching, and presentation skills.
- Business sales experience and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with basic HR/recruiting processes.
