Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Little Caesar's Pizza of Arkansas. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of employees to achieve sales goals and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve customers with a smile, ensuring their orders are accurate and delivered within the expected time frame.
  • Prepare and serve high-quality products, adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Display a positive image and follow company policies, procedures, and standards for conduct.
  • Clean and organize workstations, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Perform cash management responsibilities, ensuring compliance with safety and security procedures.
  • Provide direction and feedback to employees, coaching and counseling to ensure job duties are performed and company standards are achieved.
  • Support the General Manager in achieving and sustaining company standards in areas such as staff training, food and paper control, labor hour control, revenue growth, and performance and audit reviews.
  • Complete all paperwork and computer data entry accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow procedures associated with opening, operating, and closing the restaurant.
  • Perform other tasks and duties assigned by management to achieve company goals and targets.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move 55 pounds.
  • Ability to reach and move items from high to low shelves.
  • Ability to apply pressure to cut through products and/or clean equipment/utensils.
  • Ability to count, separate, and weigh food products and inventory items.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to understand directions, instructions, and product specifications.
  • Ability to process and complete customer orders.
  • Ability to comprehend all training materials and practice standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to successfully pass required training programs for certifications.
  • Ability to use mathematical skills to compute sales totals, percentages, inventory usage, food orders, employee work schedules, cash handling results, and projected business needs.
  • Ability to legally drive an automobile, adhering to all state and local traffic laws.
  • Ability to supervise a number of people at the same time and motivate them to meet goals, duties, and deadlines.

Education or Skills:

  • Previous experience in restaurants, retail, or a position involving customer contacts is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent and basic math skills.
  • Possess excellent verbal communication and interpersonal relations skills.
  • Be dependable, hardworking, and able to work under pressure and in stressful situations.
  • Be able to work a standard schedule of 36-40 hours per week and perform all essential functions of the job.
  • Have a minimum of six months of experience with the Company as a Crew person or have been hired as an Assistant Manager Trainee.
  • Be 100% CARDS certified.
  • Be interviewed and recommended for promotion by an Area Supervisor.
  • Have successfully completed the Company Assistant Manager Training Plan and passed the solo open and close shift evaluations.
  • Have successfully completed the Little Caesars Basic Operations Course (or equivalent Management Trainee Course) within the past 12 months.
  • Have successfully completed ServSafe Manager Training within the past 12 months.
  • Possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence with a driving record maintained within company guidelines.
  • Possess a reliable vehicle and auto insurance as a primary to complete daily banking and other responsibilities as directed by Manager or Area Supervisor.
  • Meet Company Background Verification guidelines.
  • The U.S. Department of Justice (INS Division) requires that each Colleague provide documentation that proves their eligibility to work in the United States.
