Job Title: Business Analyst

Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to fill this key role.

Job Summary:

The Business Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the business's needs for changes to processes, policies, and/or information systems are identified, understood, defined, documented, and acted upon. This will involve eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, specifying, and verifying the needs of the business or user.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Interpret business needs and issues by gathering, eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating the Business area's user and technical (functional/non-functional) requirements.
  2. Participate in the creation of requirements documentation and collaborate in the creation of project plans to define, organize, and schedule requirements management and development activities.
  3. Participate in requirements analysis and verification sessions, track and manage open issues, and assist in planning for resolution.
  4. Implement practices and procedures for end-user test plans, identify and document gaps in requirement adherence or system deficiencies/defects, and coordinate appropriate action through issue resolution.
  5. Provide guidance and training to application end-users.
  6. Identify, document, and troubleshoot problems in systems, software, and processes, collaborate with stakeholders to monitor, report, and resolve issues, and participate in the development of solutions and workarounds.
  7. Review, analyze, and create detailed documentation of business systems and user needs, responsible for the written documentation of requirements in a clear and well-organized manner.
  8. Monitor and report project status to identify and mitigate risks and ensure quality and timely deliverables, coordinate assigned projects from concept through implementation, and prioritize and manage new work requests.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 3 years of experience in functional, operational, business, data, systems, or testing analysis. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, effective deliverables on-time and be a valuable contributor to the development of cost-effective solutions. Moderate understanding of business analysis core competencies.

Strong time-management and organizational skills, excellent communication skills both written and verbal, ability to organize stakeholder meetings, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications usage.

The incumbent is required to immediately disclose any debarment, exclusion, or other event that makes them ineligible to perform work directly or indirectly on Federal health care programs.
