Infosys is looking for a Cloud Solutions Java Engineer. In the capacity of a Technology Lead, you will be a pivotal technology expert enhancing various stages of the Software Development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include transitioning applications from traditional environments to cloud platforms, as well as independently crafting and evaluating code while contributing to the deployment strategy. You will collaborate with top-tier professionals in the field to devise innovative, high-quality, and error-free solutions tailored to our clients' business requirements. Location Requirement

Candidates must be within a reasonable commuting distance or be open to relocating. Occasional travel to project sites may be necessary.

Essential Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution is required. We will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Proficient in AWS Compute (EC2, EMR), AWS Storage (S3, EBS), AWS Databases (RDS, DynamoDB), and AWS Data Integration (Glue).
  • Experience with CI/CD and deployment automation using GITLAB pipeline.
  • Strong technical expertise in software engineering for Java EE/Cloud technologies, including Java Lambdas, Java Streams API, and Java functional programming.
  • Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Python or Scala.
  • Required Technologies: Java 8-21, JavaScript, Spring (Data, MVC, Security, Core, etc.), App/Web servers (Tomcat, JBoss, etc.), RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL).

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of experience in AWS Compute (EC2, EMR), AWS Storage (S3, EBS), AWS Databases (RDS, DynamoDB), and AWS Data Integration (Glue).
  • At least 6 years of experience in Java EE/Cloud technologies with proficiency in Java Lambdas, Java Streams API, and Java functional programming.
  • Experience in building and testing systems end-to-end.
  • Experience in developing web UIs using frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Docker, Terraform, Playwright, and various AWS services (IAM, S3, CloudFront, Secrets Manager, EC2, ECS, ALB, RDS, Elasticache, MSK, AmazonMQ).
  • Understanding of design principles.
  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Capable of analyzing business requirements and formulating functional requirements.
  • Proficient in tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project, with experience in creating and presenting status updates to senior management.
  • A willingness to learn new technologies and stay updated with the latest advancements in cloud architecture, driving the organization to adopt emerging best practices.

This role requires extended periods of sitting and working at a computer. Effective communication via various channels is essential. Travel may be required based on job needs.
