Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to manage and oversee various initiatives within the Technology division. This role will focus on two distinct talent programs: the Technology Associate Program (TAP) and the Drake BlueX Program (BX). TAP is designed for recent graduates in technology, offering a two-year rotation across four areas of our Technology division. The BX program partners with Drake University to provide technology students with formal mentoring and part-time internship opportunities.

In addition, you will play a crucial role in managing the division's Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and Communities of Practice (CoPs), which facilitate our transition to agile methodologies and SAFe practices. The Program Coordinator will collaborate with stakeholders throughout the division to lead initiatives related to Technology Innovation, including investment tracking and financial reporting.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in coordinating emerging talent programs or working with new talent.
  • Strong informal leadership and decision-making capabilities.
  • Familiarity with various technology teams and terminology (e.g., Agile, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Analytics).

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in project/program management support or administrative roles that involve supporting multiple leaders or teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with various levels of leadership.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Additional Responsibilities

a. Program Support: Provide administrative support to program leaders, including organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and tracking progress on program items.

b. Resource Management: Collaborate with Program Directors to understand resource needs and ensure timely onboarding and training for consultants and full-time employees.

c. Reporting: Prepare accurate documents and materials for internal and external communications, maintaining databases and compiling data for reports.

d. Customer Service: Offer professional support to team members, customers, and stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries.

e. Budget Participation: Engage in the budget process for multiple program teams, ensuring timely completion and accurate handling of financial documents.

f. Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
