Job Title: Leasing Consultant

University Partners is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for leasing apartments, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a positive experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lease apartments in accordance with occupancy goals
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospects, and visitors
  • Conduct outside marketing and promotions under the direction of the Assistant Manager and Community Manager
  • Review applications, verify credit and income information, and conduct background checks
  • Complete lease paperwork and files, including lease agreements and addendums
  • Ensure the condition of leased apartments prior to move-in and conduct final inspections
  • Follow up with residents throughout their lease terms and promote annual renewal campaigns
  • Manage lease renewals and complete lease documents

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; or High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge in Entrata preferred
  • Excellent customer service, sales, and negotiation skills
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Able to work weekends or overtime as job requires

Working Environment and Physical Demands:

This role requires working in an office environment with occasional travel outside the area. The physical demands of this role include walking, sitting, standing, climbing or balancing, lifting under 10 lbs, reaching with hands and arms, and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
