Practice Overview:
We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatrist to join our dedicated team. The role involves working with established inpatient units and outpatient clinic teams, as well as providing in-hospital consultations for both adult and pediatric patients.
The facility boasts a robust Hospitalist program and a highly skilled emergency medicine team, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations aimed at diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic mental health conditions. You will also provide pharmacological interventions along with essential psycho-education and crisis management strategies.
Follow-up appointments will be an integral part of your role, supporting the ongoing treatment plans for your patients. Collaboration with fellow psychiatrists, advanced practitioners, and community partners is key to delivering holistic care.
Safety is paramount; therefore, you will utilize various methods to assess potential risks to patients and work with the treatment team to implement necessary precautions.
This position operates on a day shift schedule, with shared on-call responsibilities, including night and weekend duties. We offer competitive compensation, including productivity incentives and a sign-on bonus, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
