About Us:

Central Minnesota Legal Services is a nonprofit law firm providing free legal representation to clients with low income in 21 counties in central Minnesota. Our mission is to advocate for access to the civil justice system for individuals with low income by providing high-quality legal services and empowering self-advocacy skills through legal education.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of paralegals in the Minneapolis and Anoka offices
  • Support administrative and legal work in a fast-paced office environment
  • Lead team meetings and traditional paralegal assignments
  • Draft letters and pleadings, client communication, e-filing, file creation and maintenance, and entering accurate information into the firm's electronic case management system, LegalServer

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Paralegal AS degree, Paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience
  • Previous supervising experience preferred
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Excellent computer skills and attention to detail

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $58,426 - $64,972
