POSITION OVERVIEW

  • The selected candidate will report directly to the Plant General Manager and will lead a dedicated team of six engineers, including a Quality Lab Manager, totaling 25 employees.
  • Complete financial and budgetary responsibility for the quality department.
  • The candidate will take charge of the plant's quality operations while collaborating with various departments.
  • Focus on training and mentoring two Quality Leaders to enhance departmental capabilities.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership aligned with the company's objectives and business plans.
  • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Drive the application of problem-solving methodologies to address plant and customer-related challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with plant personnel to develop high-potential talent.
  • Enhance process efficiency through the implementation of best practices, standard operating procedures, and lean manufacturing principles.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree is preferred for this role.
  • At least five years of experience in Quality Management within a highly regulated industry is essential.
  • A robust profile in Quality Systems is required.
  • Experience in a metals environment is advantageous.
