The County of Muskegon is seeking a highly skilled WIC Quality Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Public Health department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the WIC program operates in compliance with State and Federal standards, policies, and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate the effectiveness of program content, services, and participant needs
- Recommend and participate in the implementation of service and organization modifications to achieve program goals and objectives
- Contribute to the design and implementation of communications with WIC participants regarding program participation, surveys, and evaluation projects
- Assist in capturing quantitative and qualitative performance activity and summarizing and reporting outcomes to Public Health management
- Stay informed of developments in the WIC program and represent the Public Health department at various state and community meetings, professional associations, coalitions, task forces, etc.
- Provide quality assurance and improvement leadership, guidance, and training to WIC staff, student workers, volunteers, and/or interns
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the WIC program and its requirements, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
