Terraphase Engineering Inc is seeking a highly skilled Associate Hydrogeologist to join our team in Tacoma, WA. As a key member of our environmental consulting team, you will play a critical role in managing water rights-related projects and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal permits and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct hydrogeological investigations and assessments to support water rights projects.
- Provide expertise in water rights and regulatory compliance to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to develop water resource management strategies.
- Prepare reports, permit applications, and regulatory documentation to meet project requirements.
- Perform data analysis and modeling related to water resources to inform project decisions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in geological sciences or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in hydrogeology in support of water rights projects.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal water rights regulations.
- Strong analytical, modeling, and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Licensed Geologist (LG) or Licensed Hydrogeologist (LHG) in Washington State.
- Project management experience.
- Experience working on a variety of hydrogeology and water rights-related projects.
