Job Overview

Terraphase Engineering Inc is seeking a highly skilled Associate Hydrogeologist to join our team in Tacoma, WA. As a key member of our environmental consulting team, you will play a critical role in managing water rights-related projects and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal permits and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct hydrogeological investigations and assessments to support water rights projects.
  • Provide expertise in water rights and regulatory compliance to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to develop water resource management strategies.
  • Prepare reports, permit applications, and regulatory documentation to meet project requirements.
  • Perform data analysis and modeling related to water resources to inform project decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in geological sciences or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in hydrogeology in support of water rights projects.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal water rights regulations.
  • Strong analytical, modeling, and data interpretation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensed Geologist (LG) or Licensed Hydrogeologist (LHG) in Washington State.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience working on a variety of hydrogeology and water rights-related projects.
