The University of Louisville School of Medicine seeks an accomplished adult cardiac surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

Responsibilities include teaching residents and students, as well as conducting research commensurate with academic rank. The successful candidate will be expected to perform a wide range of adult cardiac surgeries. With over 1000 cases annually, the University of Louisville Heart Hospital offers a dynamic environment for clinical excellence.

To be considered, candidates must be board certified/board eligible and eligible for licensure in Kentucky. A strong commitment to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research activities is essential.

As part of a diverse department comprising five divisions, the ideal candidate will contribute to the growth and success of Adult Cardiac Surgery. With a traditional three-year ACGME cardiac training program, opportunities for professional development are abundant.
