Job Overview

PepperJax Grill is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing inventory, scheduling, and staff performance.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of staff, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure they are equipped to deliver excellent service.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized restaurant environment.
  • Financial Management: Assist with financial tasks, including managing cash handling, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
  • Two to three years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, twist, kneel, climb, stoop, reach, and grasp objects above or below waistline.
  • Background check and motor vehicle check required.
  • Must have adequate transportation.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
