Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care and Support
    • Provide high-quality patient care and support services, including vital sign measurements, medication administration, and specimen collection.
    • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, and assist healthcare providers during exams and procedures.
    • Document patient information and test results in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Administrative and Clinical Support
    • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
    • Perform routine tests, such as EKGs, and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
    • Administer medications and vaccines as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to achieve patient care goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Current/valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certification required.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
