We are partnering with our esteemed client to recruit a Chief Operations Executive for their organization dedicated to fostering a vibrant and engaged Jewish community both locally and globally. This pivotal role will oversee operational functions and financial management while also directing information technology and human resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, develop, and execute operational policies that align with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Evaluate operational data to pinpoint areas for enhancement and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with financial management to create and manage the annual operating budget, providing insights on financial performance to leadership.
  • Partner with the CEO to actualize the organizational vision, strategy, and operational plans, including security, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Inspire, lead, and mentor team members, cultivating a culture of community involvement and philanthropy.
  • Establish strong cross-functional relationships with teams in philanthropy, education, marketing, and impact.
  • Proactively anticipate and strategize for necessary changes in organizational policies and practices to align with new strategic directions.
  • Enhance systems and processes, including CRM, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, to ensure operational efficiency and financial health.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 10 years in progressively responsible positions.
  • At least 5 years of experience in leadership roles with indirect reports.
  • Exceptional organizational and people management capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and public speaking skills.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to foresee implications and outcomes.
