Our Role
- We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative to join our team and drive customer acquisition efforts.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, a strong understanding of financial services and sales methodologies, and excellent communication skills.
- This role offers exciting opportunities for growth and development, with the potential for promotion into a closing role within 6-12 months, contingent on performance and quota attainment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to identify, qualify, and convert new business leads.
- Represent Vestwell's products and services by delivering our value proposition to new prospects, including financial advisors and business owners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage lead lists, track progress, and report to sales managers with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.
Requirements:
- Two or more years of experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding lead targets.
- Strong understanding of financial services and sales methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization.
Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) or at least five years of relevant work experience.
- Experience as a sales development representative, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Salesloft, or other CRM software.
- Financial services and/or small business sales experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $55K - $60K, plus variable incentives based on performance and location. Our benefits package includes comprehensive health insurance, generous vacation time, and a hybrid office policy.
