Our Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative to join our team and drive customer acquisition efforts.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, a strong understanding of financial services and sales methodologies, and excellent communication skills.
  • This role offers exciting opportunities for growth and development, with the potential for promotion into a closing role within 6-12 months, contingent on performance and quota attainment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategic plans to identify, qualify, and convert new business leads.
  2. Represent Vestwell's products and services by delivering our value proposition to new prospects, including financial advisors and business owners.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
  4. Utilize Salesforce to manage lead lists, track progress, and report to sales managers with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.

Requirements:

  • Two or more years of experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding lead targets.
  • Strong understanding of financial services and sales methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization.

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) or at least five years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience as a sales development representative, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Salesloft, or other CRM software.
  • Financial services and/or small business sales experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $55K - $60K, plus variable incentives based on performance and location.
