About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Project Manager to join our Engineering Design – Project Management team at IPS-Integrated Project Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects while ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Oversee the delivery of individual projects, focusing on quality objectives and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.
  • Resource Management: Procure and coordinate all required project resources, including intradivisional, interdivisional, and extracorporate resources.
  • Documentation and Financial Management: Prepare subcontract, purchase order, and change control documentation, as well as related financial documentation.
  • Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Evaluate vendor and subcontractor invoices and develop change control documentation and related financial documentation.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate communication between project participants and produce documentation of communication between project participants.
  • Design Execution Planning: Develop and maintain design execution plans.
  • Technical Design Coordination: Coordinate the review and approval of technical design disciplines, including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process, and process automation on pharmaceutical industry projects.
  • Project Budgeting and Monitoring: Develop a working knowledge of the project budget and identify exceptions to the project budget throughout the execution of the project.
  • Design Content and Quality: Monitor design content and quality and coordinate design revisions for constructability and compliance with basis documents, schedule, and budget.
  • Document Control: Work with Document Control to ensure that all project documents are distributed, reviewed, and stored to meet project and corporate requirements.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of engineering experience
  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
  • General knowledge of system design and applicable codes in specific discipline-related areas (Mechanical, Structural, Plumbing, Electrical, or Process)
