Process Design Engineer III

At IPS-Integrated Project Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Process Design Engineer III to join our team of experts in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop process design documents and deliverables for various phases of projects, including conceptual designs, basis of design, and detailed design.
- Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design documents.
- Modify reports, specifications, drawings, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, and designs as directed by the Lead Engineer.
- Perform calculations using engineering formulas and skills for process design.
- Create specialized drawings, such as PFDs, MFDs, UDDs, and P&IDs.
- Select equipment based on recommendations from the Lead Process Engineer and generate equipment lists and schedules.
- Provide drawings for own designs and produce sketches to incorporate into drawings by drafters.
- Research design options and document findings for the Lead Process Engineer.
- Keep the Lead Engineer informed of workload and any changes in project scope or additional services.
- Provide information to the Lead Engineer for incorporation into specifications.
- Design in accordance with cGMP process guidelines for pharmaceutical facilities.
- Organize and maintain project files. Maintain a neat and organized work area that allows efficient access to information required by other team members.
- Ensure that drawings and designs are in accordance with company production and design standards.
- 7+ years of engineering experience.
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs and computer-aided drafting.
- Ability to interface with other disciplines on a project where required.
- Experience in a variety of pharmaceutical projects, including API, OSD, and Aseptic Fill/Finishing.
This position is a safety-sensitive position. The employee is designated for field work and attends activities at client sites where they work in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other non-administrative areas.
