A prominent player in the energy sector is seeking a Financial Operations Manager. This pivotal role involves overseeing the finance department and its operations, including the monthly financial close, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, and comprehensive financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver precise and timely evaluations of actual monthly financial outcomes against budgets, along with financial analysis and trends to support the CFO, COO, and other senior leadership.
  • Act as the primary liaison with external firms for quarterly assessments, annual financial audits, and related regulatory filings, ensuring strict compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Manage departmental budgets and forecasts effectively.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the finance team to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA designation preferred.
  • 5-7 years of accounting experience within the construction, technology, or manufacturing sectors.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a Big 4 or similar national firm.
