The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the team through assisting with the Project Management Office functions and project portfolio tasks. This role involves managing the reporting of project data, a fundamental role in managing the health of the project portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the creation and management of documentation for processes and procedures
- Maintaining and monitoring progress tracking within a project
- Supporting the Director with correspondence
- Providing administrative support to project teams, including document management, meeting coordination, and communication
- Special projects
- Recording and maintaining detailed notes during meetings, discussions, and other relevant interactions
- Facilitating team functions
- Communicating effectively with project team members and other relevant parties
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in project controls, project management, or related roles
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, or similar tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data effectively
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams
- Demonstratable ability to politely but persistently follow up
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to rapidly resolve issues and recognize when to escalate
- Operate with a speed of urgency
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to keep calm and cool in a crisis
