Nurse Specialist Quality Improvement Lead

The Nurse Specialist Quality Improvement Lead will be responsible for ensuring quality, safe, cost-effective and efficient patient care in collaboration with other unit leadership. This role will represent the department at harm event meetings and collaborate with other leaders to improve patient safety and quality.
Duties and Responsibilities- Rounding on patients to monitor care and educate as necessary to improve outcomes
- Collaborating with bedside RNs to work at the point of care
- Decreasing patients' length of stay through rounding, daily chart review, and partnerships with providers
- Organizing and running a daily transition of care huddle with the interdisciplinary team
This role requires:
- A 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or an Associate's Degree in Nursing with plans to obtain a Bachelor's Degree within 18 months
- 2-3 years of nursing experience and 0-1 year of quality management experience
- A current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license and AHA BLS certification
Phoebe Physicians offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
