Patient Safety and Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Patient Safety and Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Phoebe Physicians. As a key member of our quality team, you will play a critical role in promoting a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Rounding with bedside RNs to monitor care and educate as necessary to improve outcomes.
- Organizing and running daily transition of care huddles with the interdisciplinary team to assure that care is being expedited and length of stay optimized.
- Maintaining current knowledge in present areas of responsibility.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in quality management, including 0-1 year of experience in quality management and LEAN/Six Sigma certification. A 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or an Associate's Degree in Nursing, along with a current Georgia RN license, is also required.
Estimated Salary
$70,000 - $90,000 per year.
