Key Responsibilities
  • Answering Calls and Scheduling Appointments
    • Respond to incoming calls from patients and families in a timely and professional manner
    • Schedule appointments and manage patient schedules with accuracy and efficiency
  • Managing Patient Information
    • Enter patient demographics, insurance, and referral information into our electronic medical record system
    • Update patient records and ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Providing Administrative Support
    • Cancel and reschedule appointments as needed
    • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management
  • Maintaining Confidentiality and HIPAA Compliance
    • Ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information at all times
    • Comply with all HIPAA policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Prior medical office experience preferred
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
    • Strong computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical record systems
  • Physical and Environmental Demands
    • Ability to sit for long periods of time and use a computer
    • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and move around the office as needed
