Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Records Coordinator to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a Medical Records Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient medical records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the day-to-day HIM departmental clerical activities, including working with Horizon Patient Folder (HPF) and McKesson Patient Folder (MPF) workflow queues.
  • Resolve unbilled accounts and facilitate the physician suspension process.
  • Serve as the on-site initial point of contact for Facility Leadership and Medical Staff when the HIM Leader is off-site.
  • Assist with FPO duties and Records Management duties as needed.
  • Provide training and education on record completion enabling technology.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of HIM department experience with a concentration in incomplete record management is strongly preferred.
  • RHIA or RHIT certification preferred.
