Job Summary:

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a skilled Medical Staff Coordinator to coordinate all potential transplant patient evaluations and organize medical/surgical data and pre-operative studies in collaboration with the transplant team.

This role involves developing and conducting educational programs for patients and medical staff within Ohio and contiguous areas. The successful candidate will assist with the development and implementation of new processes/procedures within the program and participate in Patient Selection Committee and CTC staff meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate transplant patient evaluations and medical/surgical data
  • Develop and conduct educational programs for patients and medical staff
  • Assist with development and implementation of new processes/procedures
  • Participate in Patient Selection Committee and CTC staff meetings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Level Degree
  • Graduate from an approved school of nursing
  • Flexible, sensitive, and adaptable to transplant activities
