Pirelli Tires is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the manufacturing operations, troubleshooting hardware and software failures, and working to continuously improve the systems, processes, and procedures in your area of responsibility.
Main Responsibilities- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Follow safety rules, and comply with Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality management systems.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement: Proactively participate and promote 5S and safety programs to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Troubleshoot Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot PLC's, AC/DC Motors, Drives, Robots, and other Electrical components to identify and resolve issues.
- Read and Interpret Electrical Prints: Read and troubleshoot Electrical prints and diagrams to ensure accurate understanding of electrical systems.
- Perform Planned Maintenance: Perform planned maintenance activities on equipment during stoppages to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct Regular Inspections: Conduct continuous inspections of equipment to ensure correct operation and early diagnosis of problems.
- Diagnose and Implement Corrective Action: Take a full part in diagnosis of production/quality problems and implement corrective action plans to resolve issues.
- Support Production Team: Cover for Production Technicians as and when required to ensure seamless production operations.
- Improve Systems and Processes: Work to continuously improve the systems, processes, and procedures in your area of responsibility.
- Technical Degree: Technical degree, preferred.
- Previous Maintenance Experience: Previous maintenance experience that demonstrates a high level of troubleshooting skills, electrical and mechanical with an emphasis on electrical.
- PLC and Drive Programming: Working knowledge of PLC (Siemens), and Drive programming and maintenance. Experience of robotics, extruders/injectors, and other process machinery to include CNC is a plus.
- Autonomy and Teamwork: Capability to work on own initiative, autonomously where required, and to take responsibility. Ability to work in a team environment, participating in continuous improvement activities using problem-solving techniques.
